what are torsion bars?
Torsion Bars originated from training in the Australian Army. Soldiers used the Torsion Bars from vehicles like APC’s (Armoured Personnel Carriers) to do various exercises whilst out field. So then they were brought into training in the barracks also where Torsion Bars were used on a daily basis for circuit training and for simulating a rifle in hand during Battle PT. Some of the incredible benefits of a Torsion Bar include but are not limited to the following; Ease of use, durability, no moving parts which could cause injury, building grip strength due to the diameter increase as the bar gets heavier and variety of capable exercises via the one bar. You can also conduct most of the exercises done with a dumbbell, barbell and kettlebell, but due to the length builds greater shoulder and wrist stability.
